Scheduled Events of the 2008 Reunion

Thursday, June 26th

4:00PM - 9:00PM Registration in the Poolview Room Hospitality Suite.
5:00PM - 9:00PM Reception and get together "No host / cash bar cocktail party" with heavy Hors D'Oeurves in the Hospitality Suite.

Pictures will be taken of shipmates
  1. Those shipmates who are attending their 6th reunion
  2. New shipmates who are attending their 1st reunion
  3. Those shipmates who attended the 1st reunion in 1996.
  4. Those 22 shipmates who are present who are Charter Members that started the association in 1998.
  5. Pictures by years onboard with the Operations, Weapons, Engineering, Supply, Admin Departments for the following year groups, 1959 - 1963, 1964 - 1969, 1970 - 1974, 1975 - 1982

Friday, June 27th


8:00AM - 11:00PM Hospitality Suite is open
8:00AM The Grand Tour - includes the best of San Diego, a one-hour cruise along the harbor, and a visit to Tijuana for sight-seeing & shopping. Tour is pre-arranged.

Saturday, June 28th


8:00AM - 11:00PM Hospitality Suite is open
TDB USS Midway Museum

6:30PM - 11:00PM Buffet dinner with cash bar in the Crystal ballroom.
Edwards Association Business Meeting - President Bob Tuttle
Memorial Service for deceased shipmates - LTJG Robert Griffin

Sunday, June 29th

8:00AM - 10:00AM Breakfast Buffet in the Crystal Ballroom, and a farewell to those departing on Sunday.
